Mike Rogers and Andy Mongeon are good friends who had been working in the
kitchen and bath industry for many years together. By 2001, they had established reputations among the elite in the local kitchen and bath remodeling community. They had run two companies together for other folks but each had gone after better opportunities, professionally but apart. Mike's grandfather was a furniture hobbyist who had spent his twilight years tinkering away on one project or another, always for free and always for a friend or neighbor. In 2003, he passed, and Mike inherited an entire workshop of tools and machinery. That summer Mike and Andy decided it was
time to team up again.
Humbly, with the help and support of Mike's dad, Al Rogers, that fall Mike
and Andy opened "At Home Kitchens" with the idea that they could offer
customers better products and services in a true family atmosphere under the concept: "If you treat people right and do it right, then profits will come."
Soon after, Mike's wife, Jody, joined the company as the business manager and things took off. A cousin, an aunt, an uncle, some in-laws and some people Mike and Andy new and respected in the industry were enticed to join,
and the At Home Kitchens family took form. Today we are a 20 plus person team building a great reputation for always giving the customer more than they pay for and doing things the right way. A kitchen or bath remodel is
something you do once, and you want it done right. At least that is what we are counting on! |
